the menu

It is rewritten on the first of every month and it is short on purpose — one fish, one meat, one from the garden, and whatever the fruit is doing. Sunday lunch runs the same list with a roast added.

sunday lunch

On Sundays the list above stays, and a roast joins it — Ebbor Farm beef or hogget depending on the week, carved to order with dripping potatoes, greens and a jug of gravy. £24 a head, or £16 for a child's plate. It runs from noon until we sell out, which is usually before three.

Tables are held for two hours. The twelve counter seats are kept back for walk-ins every service.
